Theme: technologies for ecology, education, and social sphere
Format: 48 hours, in person or online
Goal: to develop a digital product that solves a social problem
Participants: students, novice developers, designers, analysts
Day 1 — Start and idea development
09:00–10:00 — Registration and welcome coffee
- Distribution of badges and welcome packs.
- Setting up workstations.
- Introducing participants.
10:00–10:30 — Hackathon opening
- Welcome speech by the organizers.
- Presentation of goals and nominations.
- Announcement of rules and evaluation criteria.
10:30–11:00 — Team formation
- Pitch ideas (everyone briefly presents their idea).
- Formation of teams based on interests (developers, designers, analysts).
11:00–12:00 — Master class: “How to come up with a socially significant IT product”
- Analysis of successful cases (environmental, educational, social projects).
- Practical advice on structuring ideas.
12:00–13:00 — Lunch / networking
13:00–18:00 — Project work: stage 1 (Idea and prototyping)
- Defining the problem and target audience.
- Creating a user flow and design mockup.
- Developing an MVP concept.
- Mentors help clarify the task.
6:00–7:00 p.m. — Master class: “UX design for social projects”
- Basics of interface accessibility (a11y).
- How to make a design that is convenient for different categories of users.
7:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. — Project work: stage 2 (start of development)
- Setting up the repository (GitHub/GitLab).
- Creating the basic application architecture.
- Dividing tasks by role.
Day 2 — Development and defense
09:00–10:00 — Breakfast and checkpoint
- Short call or meeting with mentors.
- Checking progress and adjusting goals.
10:00–16:00 — Project work: stage 3 (development and testing)
- Implementation of basic functions.
- Connecting AI/API (if applicable).
- Preparation of demo version.
- Final debugging.
12:30–13:30 — Lunch / short break
13:30–15:30 — Preparation for presentation
- Slide design.
- Rehearsal of presentation.
- Configuration of demo version.
4:00–6:00 p.m. — Final presentations
- Each team presents their project (5-minute pitch + 3 minutes of questions from the jury).
- Demonstration of the prototype or MVP.
6:30–7:00 p.m. — Summing up and award ceremony
Announcement of winners in the following categories:
- Best social project
- Innovation of the year
- Best UX design
Presentation of diplomas, gifts, and invitations to internships.
7:00–8:00 p.m. — Afterparty and networking
- Photos, exchange of contacts, discussion of projects.
